Cypress Creek Recognized with Two North Carolina Department of Labor Safety Awards

July 2, 2026

Cypress Creek is proud to announce that it has earned two prestigious safety honors from the North Carolina Department of Labor (NCDOL), celebrating an outstanding commitment to workplace safety throughout 2025.

The NCDOL Safety Awards Program is administered through its Education, Training and Technical Assistance Bureau of the Occupational Safety and Health Division. Through the Safety Awards Program, private and public firms that achieve and maintain good safety records are recognized. This program is designed to stimulate interest in accident prevention and to promote safety in the workplace by providing an incentive to employers and employees to maintain a safe and healthful workplace. Annual safety awards are presented during ceremonies that take place each spring across North Carolina.

Cypress Creek received the Gold Safety Award, which recognizes organizations with exceptional safety performance based on their Days Away, Restricted or Transferred (DART) rate, a key measure that tracks workplace injuries or illnesses resulting in days away from work, restricted duties or job transfers.

In addition, Cypress Creek was among a select  few companies to receive a Certificate of Special Recognition for achieving one million employee hours without a workplace injury or illness resulting in lost workdays between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025.

Representatives from Cypress Creek accepted the awards during a recent ceremony hosted by the North Carolina Department of Labor in Raleigh, where they were joined by the North Carolina Department of Labor Commissioner, Luke Farley.

“These recognitions reflect far more than our safety performance; they represent the commitment our employees make every day to look out for one another,” said Nicholas D’Amore, Senior Director, HSSE. “Safety is built into everything we do, from planning and preparation to the decisions made in the field. These awards are a testament to the culture our teams have created together and their dedication to ensuring everyone goes home safely at the end of each day.”

Congratulations to the entire Cypress Creek team on this outstanding achievement and thank you for continuing to make safety a core part of how we work every day.
