Welcome Marc Fioravanti, Senior Vice President of Operations
Cypress Creek Renewables is excited to announce today that Marc Fioravanti has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Operations. In this position, Marc will oversee Cypress Creek’s Operations & Maintenance Services and Asset Management Services divisions.
With a focus on customer service and growing its business for third party customers, Cypress Creek has become a leader in O&M Services and Asset Management Services. The company now operates nearly 3 gigawatts (GW) of solar and storage and has 1.8 GW of solar under management.
“Marc is one of the most experienced and thoughtful leaders in this business, and we’re pleased to have him join the Cypress team,” said Sarah Slusser, CEO of Cypress Creek Renewables. “With Marc leading both O&M and Asset Management, we will have a structure that will facilitate even more collaboration across the company and further push the boundaries of solar and storage performance.”
Marc brings nearly 25 years of experience in renewable energy and clean tech. He has held leadership positions at Brookfield-backed TerraForm Power, SunEdison, Clipper Windpower and GE Power Generation. Most recently at TerraForm Power, Marc’s efforts as Managing Director, Asset Management and Vice President, Operations drove significant increase in value across more than 1.5 GW of wind projects and nearly 1 GW of solar power plants in North America.
Renewable energy captured Marc’s imagination the first time he visited wind and solar projects as a freshman at Stanford University. At that point, utility-scale solar and wind was almost nonexistent outside of California, but Marc knew he wanted to be a part of an exciting and growing industry with the potential to improve our environment and address climate change.
“As solar grows throughout the US, operation of the facilities becomes more structured, and solar asset owners are looking to get the most value from their fleet,” Marc said. “Cypress Creek operates and manages one of the largest portfolios of solar projects across the country, and I’m thrilled to be a part of the team and help continue the company’s growth trajectory.”
